We are also required under the terms of our Service Level Agreement with Aberdeenshire Council to comply with all relevant legislation, regulations, standards and codes of practice issued by "competent authority", eg Care Commission, Data Protection Registrar, Disclosure Scotland, Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator. Commitment Pillar Kincardine will adopt policies in all of the above fields consistent with the legislative and regulatory framework outlined in Schedule 1 attached to this policy. It will disseminate its policies both manually to staff, members and volunteers, and through its Internet web-site. It will review its policies at intervals of not more than three years and will monitor the application of its key policies (eg Health & Safety, Equality & Diversity) at least once a year in accordance with Schedule 2. This statement of policy was adopted by the Board of Pillar Kincardine on 6 November 2007. It will be reviewed not later than 5 November, 2010. Mental Health (Care and Treatment) (Scotland) Act 2003, National Care Standards, North East of Scotland Child Protection Guidelines, Protection of Children (Scotland) Act 2003, Regulation of Care (Scotland) Act 2001, Scottish Charity Accounts Regulations 2006.
