Why Pillar 'Kincardine'?

> Mission & Values > Organisational Structure > Our Commitment

Pillar Kincardine is a small voluntary organisation based in Stonehaven, Scotland.

We support people in and around South Aberdeenshire (mainly Kincardine and the Mearns) who are coping with serious emotional, social or mental health difficulties.

We operate from the "Crossroads" carer centre in Barclay Street, Stonehaven -- Find Us -- but use a number of community facilities in Stonehaven, Inverbervie and Laurencekirk.

  • Pillar is a registered company of charitable status, limited by guarantee.
  • Our Board of Directors consists of member representatives and volunteers, elected at each Annual General Meeting.
  • We employ a small number of suitably qualified staff headed by a Service Manager.
  • We are funded by NHS Grampian and Aberdeenshire Council.
  • We receive financial support from other sources from time to time and are always willing to work with other agencies to achieve our goals.
